Clarissa Werth is a photographer since she was able to hold a camera, she was outside taking pictures of the world. She started out in the photography, art world when she was 11 joining 4-H club. After many years of being in 4-H and submitting pictures to the state and national level competitions in high school, she made her final decision of what to do for the rest of her life. While in high school, she volunteered her photography for many events to make her skills grow. From game days to 4-H events and events throughout the community, her love for the arts grew. In her high school years, Clarissa participated in three gallery shows, six individual awards within the 4-H state fair shows and competed in shows at the college level. Once she started college at Barton County Community College, she entered many photos in two gallery exhibitions for art students. Both years she won first place for best-presented and best show in Photography in the film and digital category.
